Chioggia Tour and Cookery Lesson
Visit the fish market in Chioggia and a cookery lesson in a well known restaurant.
It is the second biggest city in the lagoon of Venice, located at it's
southern end near the delta of the river Brenta. They call it the little
sister of Venice. And they are right.
Like in Venice many canals are crossing the city, there even exists a
Canal Grande, the Canal Grande della Vena. Everything reminds on of Venice
- the venecian style buildings, lovely bridges.
The Fish Market is also well worth a visit. It is located between Corso del Popolo and Canal Vena, and is filled with a rich variety of fish from the sea and lagoon: bibarasse (clams) and caparossoli (carpet shell clams), sievali (gray mullet) and bisati (eels) and many others.
